Washi-de-asobe is a paper products brand from Japan which was launched in 2016 by Kyoei Printing Incorporated. We developed a material which is Japanese paper with offset printing.

Technology has overtaken traditional methods, and digital printings and machine-made papers have been mainstreams in the printing industry. Washi-de-asobe wants to keep Japanese aesthetic and traditions alive and tell a lot of people the beauties of handcrafts.

*This suit is made of washi-de-asobe paper. Japanese had been used paper for a Kimono(a Japanese traditional garment). The most famous poet of the Edo period in Japan, Matsuo Bashō wore a paper Kimono to keep warm during winter.
